Two suspects arrested for alleged break-ins at two churches

Two people have been arrested, suspected of breaking into two churches in Berrien County.

The break-ins happened before 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 21.

Berrien County Sheriff’s deputies were called to The Chapel Hill Church on Naomi Road where they found a smashed window.

While checking it out, they received another report of an alarm going off at the Eau Claire Seventh Day Adventist Church on Naomi Road.

There, they found another window smashed in.

While checking the area, officers found a woman sitting in a vehicle and connected her to the break-ins.

They also found a male walking down the road and connected him, as well.

Both suspects face breaking and entry, burglary and meth possession charges.
