St. Joseph County Metro Homicide has completed their investigation into a fatal taser incident during a March arrest.

It happened on Conover Drive on March 18 when a suspect was tased after officers responded to a call of a man chasing his wife with a knife.

Officials say 58 year-old Allen Boehnlein died after he failed to comply with officers telling him to drop the knife. Metro Homicide says the officer who tased him was justified, and the Prosecutor’s Office says no charges will be filed against him.
