GRANGER, Ind.- Volunteers place hundreds of American flags at a memorial park in Northern Indiana.

For Memorial Day weekend, a local organization, Homes for Heroes, wanted to honor their fellow brothers and sisters who had served in the armed forces.

The volunteers, who are veterans themselves, placed 250 American flags on veterans’ graves in the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

One of the volunteers with Homes for Heroes said this was a way to remember and memorialize those he served with that did not come back.
