One person is injured after a crash in Cass County Wednesday.

Police were called to the crash on M-60 Highway, west of Oak Grove Road in Jefferson Township, just after 3 p.m.

That’s where they found a single vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a tree. An investigation revealed the vehicle had also crashed through approximately 40 feet of fence line and overturned several times before coming to a rest.

The driver was transported to a local hospital for injuries. Police report alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
