Girl, 14, ejected w/serious injuries after crash

A 14-year-old girl is hospitalized with severe internal injuries after a crash in Elkhart County.

The collision happened around 4:20 p.m. on Friday, July 3, at County Road 113 and County Road 26 when police say a 19-year-old Elkhart woman ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a second vehicle.

A passenger in the car that police say ran the stop sign was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected out of the back window.

The drivers of both vehicle were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
