A Goshen man that forged a lease agreement and moved into a house has been arrested. 37 year old Scottie Hall is facing charges of counterfeiting and criminal trespass, among others, after police found him moved into a home he had no right to.

Police were called earlier this month by the property owner that said someone was living in their home and using the utilities without his permission. When police arrived Hall told police he found the home on craigslist and presented a forged lease. That lease listed a landlord with a fake address, a fake name, and a phone number that belonged to his wife.

The Elkhart Truth reports Hall also changed all the locks in the home.
