Hundreds of layoffs announced by Noble County company

Hundreds of layoffs are coming to Kendallville.

Book publisher LSC Communications has informed the state that it intends to close its facility on Marion Drive and lay off all 307 employees.

Layoffs will begin Oct. 1 and be complete by Dec. 23, according to a WARN Notice submitted to the state.

The company blamed “continued deterioration of market conditions” for the shutdown.

The LSC Communications facility on Lester Drive in Kendallville will not be impacted by the shutdown.
