Charges for suspects accused of attacking a homeless wheelchair bound man

The attack happened in the late night hours June 30th as 61-year-old Donnie Jackson was trying to sleep in his wheelchair outside the Central Christian Church on Franklin Street. Video of the attack went viral as police asked for public help, and the suspects were quickly identified.

Now, Felicia Ware and Antrell Omar are being charged with robbery by force. Jackson, a double amputee, has positively identified Ware and Omar from pictures provided by police.

Each has a bond set at $25,000. .

They weren’t robbing him, they were just peacefully protesting his disability…

…mostly peacefully…there where whole seconds where they weren’t assaulting and robbing him. Obviously acceptable behavior.
