One guy threw it, the other guy caught it. A lot. And now they might go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame together.

The nominees were announced Wednesday for the Hall’s Class of 2021, and the legendary Indianapolis tandem of Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne were both on the list.

Both players were instrumental in the success the Colts team enjoyed in the 2000s, including the team’s first Super Bowl win since the Baltimore Days of the early 1970s.

The duo are two of 130 possible candidates for the Class of 2021 up for enshrinement in Canton, Ohio. The class will be announced on February 6 as part of the Super Bowl week in Tampa.

It’s the first year of eligibility for Manning, the league’s only five-time MVP. Wayne was eligible last year.
