Goshen man arrested after gunshots fired

A Goshen man was arrested on a slew of charges after police heard gunshots.

It happened on Saturday night, Sep. 19.

An investigation began after a Goshen officer reported hearing the shots fired from a vehicle near North 1st Street and East Oakridge Avenue.

Edgar Salazar, 24, was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle and on Foot, Criminal Recklessness with a Firearm, Possession of a Handgun without a Permit and Driving While Suspended.

He was booked into the Elkhart County Jail.
