Food Bank of Northern Indiana releases mobile food distribution schedule, Sept. 28-Oct. 1

The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has released its mobile food distribution schedule for the week of September 28.

During distribution, food items are offered free of charge on a first come, first served basis. Food is distributed drive-thru style, so remain in your vehicle and pop open your trunk to receive your items.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, September 28, 2020 – Elkhart County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon EDT
    • WHERE:  Concord Mall, 3701 S. Main Street (by Carson Pirie Scott), Elkhart, IN 46517
  • Tuesday, September 29, 2020 – St. Joseph County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon EDT
    • WHERE:  Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 101 N. Adams Street, South Bend, IN 46628
    • This mobile food distribution is sponsored by Saint Joseph Health System and will serve up to 300 households.
  • Tuesday, September 29, 2020 – LaPorte County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon CDT
    • WHERE:  Marquette Mall, 201 W. US 20 (outside of J.C. Penney), Michigan City, IN 46360
  • Wednesday, September 30, 2020 – Kosciusko County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon EDT
    • WHERE:  Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith Street (Front Parking Lot), Warsaw, IN 46580
  • Thursday, October 1, 2020 – Starke County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon CDT
    • WHERE: James R. Hardesty Hamlet/Davis Township Fire Station and Community Center, 15 West Indiana Ave., Hamlet, IN 46532
    • This mobile food distribution is sponsored by the Hardesty Memorial Endowment Fund through the Starke County Community Foundation.
  • Thursday, October 1, 2020 – St. Joseph County
    • 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. EDT
    • WHERE: Food Bank of Northern Indiana, 702 Chapin Street, South Bend, IN 46601
    • This mobile food distribution is sponsored by Saint Pius X Church.
