Five arrested in Cass County drug bust

Five people were arrested in Cass County Thursday during a drug bust.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a home in the 30,000 block of Edwards Street where they found several people inside.

During the search, officers located methamphetamine, heroin, drug paraphernalia, illegal firearms and stolen motor vehicles.

Several people were arrested on a slew of charges.

A 28-year-old man was arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Methamphetamine.

Another 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were both arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.

A 31-year-old man was arrested for Possession of a Firearm, and another 31-year-old man was arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Maintaining a Drug House.

The suspects’ names are being withheld pending arraignment.
