Elkhart man arrested, suspected of break-in at Elkhart McDonalds restaurant

An Elkhart man has been arrested, suspected in a burglary at a McDonald’s.

It happened late Wednesday night, Oct. 7, at the restaurant in the 100 block of North Main Street in Elkhart.

A worker arriving at the restaurant around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday discovered cash and keys missing, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The investigation led police to Billy Brown, 54.

He also faces drug-related counts and charges from an active warrant.
