Food Bank of Northern Indiana releases mobile food distribution schedule, Nov. 16-20

The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has released its mobile food distribution schedule for the week of November 16.

Free food is distributed drive-thru style on a first come, first served basis for up to 400 households.

  • Monday, November 16, 2020 – St. Joseph County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon EST
    • WHERE: Osceola United Methodist Church, 431 N. Beech Road, Osceola, IN 46561
    • *This distribution is provided through COVID-19 Grant Funding by United Way of St. Joseph County.
  • Tuesday, November 17, 2020 – Elkhart County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon EST
    • WHERE: Church Community Services, 907 Oakland Avenue, Elkhart, IN 46515
    • *This distribution is funded through COVID-19 Relief Funding Round 3 by Feeding America.
  • Wednesday, November 18, 2020 – Kosciusko County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon EST
    • WHERE: Lake City Bank, 202 W. Main Street, Mentone, IN 46539
    • *This distribution is funded through COVID-19 Relief Funding Round 3 by Feeding America.
  • Thursday, November 19, 2020 – LaPorte County
    • 10 a.m. – Noon CST
    • WHERE: Greater Powerhouse Church, 428 N. Woodland Avenue, Michigan City, IN 46360

  • Thursday, November 19, 2020 – St. Joseph County
    • 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. EST

What happens if we don’t have a vehicle and we need the food. I’m 62 and my sister is 57 and we stay together and we are both disabled and on disability. My sister’s husband died a year ago. I’m single. We have no people to turn to
