One person is injured following a Michigan City shooting Monday night.

Police were called to the 1000 block of State Road 212 around 8:30 where they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound and other injuries.

ABC 57 News reports she was transported to a local hospital, and her injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.

The suspect has been identified as Jesse McNeeley.

He faces one charge of Domestic Battery with a Deadly Weapon, and will appear in court next week.
