Man, 41, hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after shooting in Elkhart

A 41-year-old man has suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot in Elkhart.

Elkhart Police were called around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, to the 500 block of Concord Avenue where they found the victim in front of a home.

Officers secured the scene and called in Detectives from the Elkhart County Homicide Unit to work the case.

There have been no arrests at this time, however, investigators say there is no threat to the public.
