A wanted man was arrested Sunday following a police pursuit.

Officers initiated the pursuit after the vehicle failed to yield for a traffic stop.

Tire deflation devices were set up on State Road 249, just off of I-94. The fleeing vehicle struck them, traveled a short distance, and eventually stopped.

ABC 57 News reports the driver was identified as Thomas Baskin, 37 of Chicago. He was arrested on a number of charges and booked in the La Porte County Jail where he’s being held with no bond.
