The City of South Bend is launching an online pre-screening for small businesses seeking to apply for a new loan program designed to help with the impacts of COVID-19.

Earlier this year the U.S. Economic Development Administration announced an award of $7.7 million for the City to administer a new Revolving Loan Fund to make the loans to local businesses.

The loans are designed to expand the city’s existing programs for small- and medium-sized companies attempting to restart, maintain, or expand their operations and keep their people on payroll.
