COVID-19 vaccine registration site, hotline, slow due to demand

The Indiana Department of Health says a high interest in coronavirus vaccinations is causing slowdowns to the state’s vaccine registration site and their 211 system.

Both of them are working, but it may take you some time to register.

State Health Commissioner Kris Box said she anticipated this possibly happening and the department has a system to address it as quickly as possible.

Starting today, Hoosiers age 80 and older became eligible to register to get vaccinated. They can register by going to ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211.
