One person is recovering after a shooting in Benton Township.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, in the area of Blossom Lane and Concord Road.

On arrival at a home on Concord Road, police found the victim suffering two gunshot wound to his legs.

The victim was taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There was no immediate word of an arrest, suspect or the circumstances that led to the shooting.
