Meth bust on I-94

Three police agencies were involved in a drug arrest Saturday night in New Buffalo Township.

Sherriff Paul Bailey says it happened around 11 p.m. It happened on westbound I-94 near Mile Marker 4.

A 39 year-old Peoria, Illinois man was arrested on two charges, including possession of meth. The man, a passenger, also had a valid felony warrant from Illinois for delivery of meth.

The vehicle was driving at speeds in excess of 90 miles per hour. $11,000 in cash was also seized.

The 35 year-old driver, also from Peoria, was released pending investigation.
