Six-month-old child found safe after quadruple murder, Amber Alert cancelled

A six-month-old child reported missing after quadruple homicide in Indianapolis was found safe.

The search for Malia Halfacre prompted a statewide Amber Alert during the overnight hours of Sunday morning, March 14.

The search began after police in Indy were called to the city’s east side where they found a woman who was shot. They woman told officer four other people had been shot. The other victims were dead.

The suspect, Malik Halfacre, was later taken into custody.
