“Grilling out” weatherwise for Father’s Day and the week ahead

(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)

The heat is on for Sunday. Father’s Day, overall, will be quiet. Plan on a sunny day with highs in the low-90s.

We’ll get even hotter during the work week ahead. Expect highs to reach low to mid-90s all week. With the heat and humidity at the start of next week, we could feel more like the triple digits during the peak heating of the day. This will make it quite dangerous for anyone who has to work outside, or even our furry friends that spend a lot time outside. Make sure to find ways to cool off this upcoming week, and stay hydrated as well.

With so much heat and moisture in the air this upcoming week, we could see a shower or two pop-up in the heat of the day. Overall, rain chances look very low for the next several days.
