The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is currently investigating a homicide with a juvenile victim.

It was around 5 :45 p.m. on Friday, June 14, when South Bend Police were called to the 500 block of E. Victoria Street on the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old boy, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim,  Alyyus Enoexpettiford, was taken to the hospital, where he died due to his injuries.
