Michigan COVID vaccine programs receive money from CDC

The Centers for Disease control and Prevention has awarded Michigan more than $90 million to support local efforts to increase vaccine doses through expanding the state’s programs.

The CDC made the announcement Tuesday as part of a $3 billion funding initiative being split among 64 parts of the country at the community-level.
