A 19-year-old man has been arrested in Bloomington, in connection with the shooting deaths of two people at Waterford Glen Apartments in South Bend.

It was last October when the shots were fired, killing Ricky Kinds Jr., 20, and Malik Balderos, 21.

An active warrant for murder against Lance Dawson, 19, was issued.

The South Bend Strategic Focus Unit made its way down to Bloomington after learning Dawson was there.

They worked with the Indiana State Police and Bloomington Police Department to conduct a high-risk traffic stop that resulted in Dawson being taken into custody without incident.
