Former Brandywine teacher accused of accosting a minor with sexual intent

A former Brandywine teacher has been charged with accosting a minor for immoral purposes.

Patrick Stier, 44, is accused of contacting someone he believed to be a 14 year-old girl and exchanging sexually-charged messages. He allegedly made plans to meet with the girl for sexual purposes.

He is charged with Accosting a Minor for Immoral Purposes and Using a Computer to Commit a Felony, and resigned on Monday from his teaching job.

Stier’s court date has not yet been set.
