Mask mandate or no mask mandate? The question remains unanswered in St. Joseph County.

Tuesday, the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners vetoed an ordinance that the St. Joseph County Council voted to extend last week. The ordinance in question allows employers to be fined if their workers fail to wear face masks.

The St. Joseph County Council will meet Friday for a vote to sustain or override the commissioners veto of extending the current mask mandate.
