Semi rear-ends vehicle, causes chain-reaction crash on SR 19

Four people were hurt when a semi slammed into the back of a car, causing a chain-reaction collision involving two other vehicles.

The collision happened around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, at State Road 19 and County Road 26.

Besides the semi, three other vehicle lined up at the traffic signal were hit, one after the other. The injuries were not life-threatening.

The semi driver received a citation for disregarding a traffic signal.
