A Concord High School teacher is on leave and is expected to be fired after administrators learned of inappropriate comments of a sexual he was alleged to have made.

Concord Schools issued a statement on Thursday, May 6, saying the teacher had been placed on leave and that the district had begun the employment termination process.

Administrators learned of the inappropriate comments on Wednesday and reported the allegations to school officers and the Department of Child Services.

The administrators also began their own investigation.

The statement said the teacher is prohibited from returning to any school premises or contacting any students, parents, or staff members.
