St. Joseph County Sheriff Bill Redman has started the process of terminating of the Department’s Corporals over statements they made in regards to a fatal crash.
Sheriff Redman says the two officers are being fired due to allegedly failing to include full information from their reports regarding two traffic crashes that involved Stephen Stopczinski on February 5 of this year.
The first crash was at 3 in the afternoon, and the second, which included a fatality, happened under five hours later.
Redman says as a result of the incomplete and false statements made by Corporal Brad Bauters and Corporal James Hart, who responded to the two crashes, he has made the decision to terminate their employment.
Both officers were previously suspended from duty in March. Redman filed paperwork with the county on Friday.

Ok what is the whole story? Anyone know?
Why tell the whole story? It might betray the narrative.
Cops are bad, they all lie, and they all need to be fired so we can “reform policing” and send social workers out to handle any issues. It’s working too, just look how fast Chet was to jump on the bandwagon.
Or, more likely, we’ll end up with CRT trained woke Federal cops (see also: what they are doing to the military right now) who will continue to enforce laws (or not) based on your skin and your politics.
It’s good to see these rouge cops be punished. I hope charges and a lawsuit is next. They deserve jail time. Bauters is an a**hole from the get go so let em do the time
