Pymouth woman found dead inside cell at Marshall County Jail

Indiana State Police have been asked to investigate the death of an inmate at the Marshall County Jail.

Jail staff found Tiffany Helbling, 31, of Plymouth, unresponsive in her jail cell at around 9 a.m. Sunday.

Jail staff began life-saving efforts until emergency medical technicians arrived.

Helbling was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Helbling was in jail on multiple charges, including drunk driving and drug possession.

An autopsy, including toxicology, is scheduled for today.
