Another sign of normal returns to downtown South Bend with a summer of free, live outdoor music through the work week.

The 2021 Red Table Plaza Lunchtime Concert Series kicks off on Tuesday, June 1.

Hosted by D-T-S-B and The Morris Performing Arts Center, the concerts are free and open to the public.

The series begins on Tuesday with a luau-themed lunchtime concert performance by The
Grooveheads.

Guests can enjoy their rock and reggae performance while enjoying giant chess, sidewalk chalk, cornhole, a giant Connect 4 and free freeze pops.

The Red Table Plaza Lunchtime Concert Series, hosted by DTSB, is held Monday through Thursday from 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m., weather permitting, at Studebaker Plaza on the southeast corner of Jefferson Boulevard and Michigan Street.

It is a perfect time to catch a quick break and enjoy lunch outside while listening to great local music.

The performers are compensated $75 for their performances and are given the option to donate it to The Music Village, a non-profit music school and art alliance located in
downtown South Bend.
