A Dowagiac man was injured in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of M-51 and Maple Street.

The crash happened just before 11 p.m. on Friday, June 18.

The 41-year-old man was traveling northbound on M-51, when Cass County Sheriff’s deputies say he veered off the roadway, hit an embankment and rolled his vehicle.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Investigators say the the man was not wearing a seatbelt.

The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.
