Police in Dowagiac say a fire at an abandoned home is being considered suspicious. The blaze broke out just before 12 a.m. on Friday, June 25, in the 400 block of Thickstun Street.

It took just 15 minutes to knock out the fire.

Investigators say the utilities had been disconnected from the structure for some time.
