A pursuit that started in the Middlebury area, then crossed over into Michigan, came to a sudden stop when the suspect lost control of his vehicle while trying to dodge stop-stick and crashed.

Cass County Sheriff’s investigators say Chase Ryan Rohm, 30, of Three Rivers hit a power pole, then overturned and came to rest in a ditch on M-40 near Hoffman Road.

Rohm was taken to Three Rivers Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
