Brandywine Schools wants students to return mask-free, without vaccine mandate

Brandywine Schools would like students to return to class without mandating COVID-19 vaccinations and without having to wear face masks.

That, from the Board Of Education, which was the first in Berrien County to hear the county’s Return to Learn plan, which is expected to be officially adopted before the end of July.

The plan was compiled by county superintendents, based on data and input from the local and state Health Departments.

According to Leader Publications, the Return To Learn plan can change, depending on the transmission rate of the virus. That means if a local or state agency of sanctioning body requires mandates or restrictions, the schools would comply.
