Walmart Wellness Day set for Saturday

Walmart Wellness Day is set for Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The goal of Walmart Wellness Day is to help get people back on track with preventive health measures they may have missed over the past year.

The CDC says more than 40% of Americans delayed care during the pandemic, and that could lead to negative health impacts in the future.

Some of the free health screenings including glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index and vision screenings.

Immunizations include measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, HPV, tetanus and whooping cough.

More than 4,700 Walmart pharmacies nationwide are taking part.
