Goshen woman on bicycle struck by minivan at County Roads 15 & 45

A 36-year-old Goshen woman suffered head and other body injuries when she was struck by a minivan.

The collision happened around 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, at County Road 15 and County Road 45, about a mile west of Goshen.

The 66-year-old Elkhart man driving the minivan failed to stop for a stop sign at County Road 15 and collided into the woman who was in the crosswalk on County Road 45, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.

The bicyclist was transported to Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment of head and other injuries.

The Elkhart man was cited for disregarding a stop sign.
