Woman arrested on suspicion of OWI with child in car

A woman has been arrested after police say she was driving while intoxicated with a child in he car.

Autumn Carlisle, 20, was picked up on Tuesday, Aug. 3, after police were called to a fast food restaurant on the reports of a possibly impaired driver.

After officers caught up to her, investigators say they saw a 1-year-old child in the car. They also said she had slurred speech and an unsteady balance, ABC 57 reported.

According to court documents she also told the officer that she had smoked marijuana.

She’s charged with neglect of a dependent and operating while intoxicated, endangering a person.
