Masks will be optional inside Penn Harris Madison Schools

Despite guidance issued by the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the St. Joseph County Department of Health, mask wearing inside Penn Harris Madison Schools will be optional.

That’s the decision of the school board after the P. H. M. administrators recommended masks be optional at all grade levels for the coming school year… and after dozens of parents and students demonstrated against mask-wearing for the past couple of weeks.

Students who attend Penn Harris Madison Schools return to their classrooms on Wednesday, August 18th.
