Five people, including 3 children, hospitalized after crash on M-62

A mother and her three children were injured in a crash in Cass County.

The collision happened around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, when police say the woman failed to stop at the stop sign at M-62 and Davis Lake Road and stuck a vehicle driven by a Cassopolis woman, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Both vehicles ended up in a field. One of the vehicles flipped on it’s top.

The mother, her two 11 year-old children and 2-year-old child and the Cassopolis woman were all taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment.
