Surveillance images released of South Bend bank robbery suspect

Surveillance images of a suspected bank robber have been released and police are asking for your help finding that person.

It was just after 3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 23, when South Bend Police were called to the 1st Source Bank on Western Avenue on the report of an armed robbery.

When officers arrived, they learned the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a male with a medium build.

Anybody with information on the person’s identity or whereabouts is asked to contact South Bend Police Department Investigative Bureau at 574-235-9263 or Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP or 800-342-STOP.
