The Michigan State Police-Paw Paw Post is looking for volunteers for its Angel Program.

The program allows people challenged with addiction walk into any police post and ask for help without fear of arrest or investigation.

Angel volunteers then help police find the appropriate treatment option and help take the person in need to a treatment center.

Volunteers are trained by police. They’re reimbursed for mileage, meal expenses and receive an hourly stipend once they reach 20 hours of service.

For more information click HERE or call the Paw Paw Post at 269-657-5551.
