The city of Elkhart’s tallest building is back.

The doors to Hotel Elkhart officially open to guests on September 16.

The hotel says guests are now able to book rooms for the first night on their website.

Inside the hotel that was built in 1923, over $15 million in renovations were spent on 93-full service guest rooms, in addition to the meeting spaces, fitness center, cafe, bar, rooftop terraces and the ballroom.

The Elkhart Truth reports the ninth-floor rooftop Terrace overlooks the River District and the Elkhart River.

Guests will notice plenty of art inside Hotel Elkhart, almost 450 pieces, with many of them being locally made.

To book a room at Hotel Elkhart, or to find out more information, visit their website here.
