Lakeland Care now offering drive-thru flu shot clinics

Lakeland Care is offering community member the option to get their flu shots in drive-through fashion.

At various locations in Berrien County throughout this month and October, Lakeland Care will have the quadrivalent flu vaccine available.

This vaccine protects against four different flu viruses. The shots are available for $32.

For those who are 65 and older, the high-dose quadrivalent flu vaccine will be available for $65.

Officials from Lakeland Care say they will bill your health insurance, but you will need to bring your insurance card with you.

Lakeland Care will accept cash or checks onsite, though they will not accent credit cards there.

Community members ages 18 and over can stay in their cars and get a flu shot between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the following days:

  • Thursday, September 16 at the Center for Outpatient Services in St. Joseph (enter off Maiden Lane)
  • Thursday, September 30 at Spectrum Health Lakeland Watervliet Hospital
  • Thursday, October 7 at Spectrum Health Lakeland Niles Hospital
  • Friday, October 8 at the Center for Outpatient Services in St. Joseph (enter off Maiden Lane)

Appointments are not needed to get the shot.
