Apartment building, vehicles hit by gunfire in Elkhart

An Elkhart apartment building and several vehicles were damaged by gunfire.

The shots were fired around 12:45 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sep. 30.

The officer at the scene discovered a vehicle with damage to the back passenger side and rear driver’s side windows. A second vehicle was also damaged.

During the second incident, the apartment building received damage from the gunfire.

There were no injuries reported.

So far, there is no word of any suspects or arrests.
