Here are a couple of freebies to remember, compliments of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

The first special day is for Veterans. They can enjoy free admission to state parks, reservoirs or state forest recreation areas on Thursday, Nov. 11, which is Veteran’s Day.

Also, on Black Friday, all visitors to a state park, reservoir, or forest rec area can get in for free.
