Formal charges filed against Elkhart man arrested for series of armed robberies

Formal charges have been filed against an Elkhart man arrested for a series of armed robberies.

Travis Sigler, 32, is charged with four counts of armed robbery and battery with a deadly weapon.

He was arrested earlier this month after police say he robbed four people at gunpoint on October 29 during three separate heists. The Elkhart Truth reports all of the robberies took place within a four-hour period.

Sigler is booked in the Elkhart County Correctional Facility on a $500,000 bond. His initial court hearing is set for November 18.
