Victim identified after fight in Elkhart leads to deadly stabbing

A fight led to a deadly stabbing in Elkhart.

Police were called around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, to the Monarch Mobile Home Park in the 2300 block of Cassopolis Street,

There they found Andrew Conley, 23, injured from a stabbing.

Crews tried live-saving measures, but Conley died while being taken to the hospital.

A second man, also believed to be in his 20’s, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was later taken into custody.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
